How to Reinforce Greenhouses During Strong Winds
Seal all door openings tightly, especially doors on back wall and west side. Secure film with pressing lines creating wave structure to prevent lifting. All film edges should be pressed tight to prevent wind entry underneath. When wind enters, close at entry point first; if strong, open appropriate vents at downwind side then close. Use nets to support heavy fruits and prevent breaking. Tighten all pressing lines with tighteners. Ensure back roof is thick enough and well sealed. Secure and connect insulation quilts together, sealing all gaps. Stop roller shutter in slightly upward position for wind resistance.
